Steel structures for navigation marks – durable and high-quality implementation
At our engineering workshop, we manufactured one ice cone, six edge and radar markers, and steel structures for a line board. The structures were hot-dip galvanized and painted with the following coatings to ensure durability:
- Semi-gloss, two-component acrylic polyurethane topcoat – shade RAL7024
- Fast-drying, flexible polyurethane paint – shades MKLPUNAINEN, MKLHARMAA and MKLVALK
- Polyurethane varnish – improves durability and facilitates cleaning in aquatic conditions
All navigation marks were NDT inspected and transported ready-made from Toivala to Hamina.
This implementation emphasizes high-quality processing and durability in demanding environmental conditions.
