Project: Internal chimney for the Husum mill
Metsä Board Oyj is investing in the renovation of its Husum paperboard and pulp mill in Sweden during the 2020s. The first phase (2019–2022) involved modernizing the pulp mill, which included upgrading the evaporator and installing a new recovery boiler and turbine.
As part of this renovation, we manufactured an acid-resistant (1.4432) internal pipe for the Husum mill.
The delivery included:
- 6 sections (13 m long) and 2 sections (12 m long)
- 100 mm insulation and shrink wrapping for protection during transport and storage
