Project: Manufacture of steel structures for the main quarry pumping station
In 2017, an underground pumping station was built in Yara Suomi Oy’s Siilinjärvi mining area to keep the main quarry dry.
We participated in the project by manufacturing and installing steel structures. We supplied platforms, stairs, maintenance platforms for settling basins, ladders, the steel frame for the electrical room and transformer, and a support system for the tunnel.
Acid-resistant steel was used as the material, and the finished products were surface-treated in our paint shop.
