Project: New steel structures for sulfuric acid production in 2024–2025
Yara has invested €235 million over five years in the renovation of its sulfuric acid production facility in Siilinjärvi. The aim of the project is to improve the reliability of the production process and enhance heat recovery, which will increase the plant’s energy efficiency and operational reliability.
Rakenneasennus carried out an extensive pipe bridge project, which included the design, manufacture, and installation of the pipe bridge and auxiliary structures.
We manufactured and installed steel structures such as:
- Pipe bridge frames and supports
- Pump bed
- 15 painted steel pipe bridge frames
A total of 280 tons of steel was used in the project. We carried out the work in close cooperation with other parties, ensuring that the structures met high quality and safety requirements and supported the objectives of the renovation.
