Project: Steel Structures for a Multipurpose Rental Hall
Rakenneasennus Oy participated in the construction of TTwest’s project in Sorsasalo, Kuopio, as a subcontractor for the installation of steel structures. The project involved a variety of steel structure installation tasks that supported the functionality and usability of the facility in both production and office spaces.
During the project, we installed the frame structures for the overhead doors of the halls and constructed the structural frames for the offices built within the hall spaces. In addition, we were responsible for installing the exterior staircase and constructing several canopy structures. Inside the facilities, we installed platform structures for technical equipment, such as ventilation and air conditioning systems.
We also installed reinforcement for the electrical distribution centers at the site, which play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and durable operation of the building’s technical systems. The work involved several different installation phases, in which dimensional accuracy, safe working practices, and seamless collaboration with other contractors were paramount.
Steel structures play a central role in industrial and warehouse construction, and a successful outcome is the result of careful planning and professional installation work. In this project, we were able to apply our expertise in a wide range of steel structure installation tasks, from frame structures to support structures for technical systems.
